Why this project?

Emmaus Roundtable is very active in the parishes where we're located. We have a two-year plan of presentations (like Reasons to Believe, The Canon of Scripture, "Bible Alone?" Church Authority, and more, that will be recorded and written down for future use. But we don't want to keep this content only to a few parishes; we want more people to get this information and let it enliven their faith.

Where is this project headed?

We're hoping that more priests will see that we provide adult faith formation for free and take advantage of that service for their parishes. We'd like to work with parish priests, Knights of Columbus councils, Newman centers on campuses, and everywhere where Catholicism is found to help Catholics get formed in their faith. Imagine if everywhere there was an Emmaus Roundtable where Catholics were learning to explain and defend their faith -- no longer would faith formation be abandoned after Confirmation, as is so often done today; there would be a place for adult Catholics to go to be faith-filled and faith-formed, and then spread the same gift to others.
